The gardens were a peaceful retreat and I loved the spacious cottage we stayed in with its unique charm.

The hotel was in a central location close to the town center. Room was great-sized and well-equipped with an iron with ironing board, a work desk and a fireplace...

Ideal base for 2 nights. Variety of goodies for breakfast. Lovely building and huge rooms on the gorgeous garden. Unbeatable location, not very far from an ancient church. Nice restaurant within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Besides, the location was marvellous and stunning for our stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Kings Gallery. The food was brilliant and the bar was good. We were greeted by pleasant, courteous staff.

Airy king room, good beds. Great breakfast and on time. The staff - knowledgeable and efficient. Magnificent location of the hotel, close to the town centre, a slope, and the cathedral and city centre.

The food and ambience of the restaurant and its area were excellent

Family room faces the street which is extremely noisy. No air conditioning in room. The room had a very strong deodorant smell.

during my stay, I loved that I could easily walk to Canterbury Cathedral and the beautiful St Augustine's Abbey in just about 15 minutes, allowing me to soak in the history and charm of the city, and the hotel itself had such friendly staff who made my experience feel cute and pleasant.

Everything! When we arrived, Henry cheerfully greeted us and helped us carry our bags to our room on the second floor. The room was spacious. There was a heated pool and a lovely green courtyard for guests to enjoy just outside the sitting room in the rear of the adjoining restaurant.

Nothing was wrong with the Ebury!

Spacious cottage with charming gardens, but cleanliness issues were off-putting.

The hotel was very convenient for the centre of Canterbury and, the next morning, for our short journey to the Channel Tunnel. Our room at the back of the hotel was quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The room was basic but comfortable.

We were less impressed with the breakfast.

Within easy walk into Canterbury, lovely garden with poolhouse. Old-world charm, nice british breakfast, but less good continental breakfast. We had a great relaxing time.

We had an excellent high quality 2-bedrooom cottage with hotel services for a family 'meet-up' with parents, grandparents and one child, so it was extermely convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was very good + good value, my son's good allergies were catered for, the staff were very helpful and everything was very clean and warm.

It didn't bother us, but the hotel is a bit outside the town centre, c 10 minutes walk, so not good if you have mobility problems.

The hotel was lovely and quiet. It was in lovely gardens. The dinner menu was easily accessed beforehand on the internet. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Overall it was two restful nights.

For the money this was a well priced, three star small hotel.
